Hi there! I am trying to get ahead of the game on finding a job for this summer. I currently bartend at one of Draft Magazine's Top 100 bars, and I would love to continue bartending out on the Vineyard! Does anyone have any suggestions on how to go about finding a job? I'm also very open-minded to other job opportunities. - Cheers! I am a 24 year old college graduate with a degree in Creative Writing. I currently live in Colorado, but am originally from Massachusetts and I can't wait to move back this Spring. My work experience is pretty eccentric. I've done everything from bartending and working at beer festivals, to nannying, editing psychological journal articles, and facilitating a writing workshop for men in prison. - How much experience do you have?
- I have at least 5 years experience in the service industry. I have bartended and served at two restaurants (my current bartending job is at one of Draft Magazine's top100 bars), I take weekly beer knowledge courses, my father owned a brewery in MA growing up, and I work for Boulder Beer Co. pouring beer and teaching patrons about the product at beer festivals. I'm open minded to other kinds of jobs as well! My experience is vast.
