Vineyard Gaga over reports of new digs

The Vineyard is buzzing that Lady Gaga will be taking up residence this summer in an oceanfront cottage on Chappaquiddick overlooking the island’s most famous fishing grounds.

Word is, the “Born This Way” belter has been rehabbing an island beach house all winter that she’s dubbed “GG’s Playpen.” The property reportedly is just two parcels over from Hollywood honey Meg Ryan’s summer manse.

Edgartown building inspector Lenny Jason told the Track he has no info on the supposed Gaga property. And there have been no sales in the area that match the property The Fame Monster reportedly bought.

We can tell you that there were sightings of the pop icon on The Rock last fall when she was supposedly house hunting.

“It’s a nouveau Martha's Vineyard beach house with a big deck,” said one island snoop. “It overlooks The Gut, the most famous fishing spot on the whole island for stripers and blues.”
